u ime Znanstveno-organizacijskog odbora pozivam Vas na sudjelovanje na 9. međunarodnom znanstveno-stručnom skupu Hranom do zdravlja koji će se održati u Osijeku (Hrvatska) 13. listopada 2016. godine. Organizatori skupa su već devetu godinu za redom Prehrambeno-tehnološki fakultet Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku, Farmaceutski i Tehnološki fakultet Univerziteta u Tuzli i HiST University of Trondheim, Norveška, a od osmog skupa 2015. godine i Europsko udruženje higijenskog inženjerstva i dizajna (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) - EHEDG. Od ove, 2016., godine novi suorganizatori Skupa su i Udruga narodnog zdravlja Andrija Štampar te HAH-Hrvatska agencija za hranu.

Osim toga, postoji mogućnost objavljivanja i cjelovitih radova u Zborniku sažetaka i radova Hranom do zdravlja, ili nakon Skupa u znanstveno-stručnim časopisima Hrana u zdravlju i bolesti, Technologica Acta ili Croatian Journal of Food Science and Technology.

OVERVIEW

of the 8th International Scientific and Professional Conference

WITH FOOD TO HEALTH

Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla, together with Chamber of Pharmacists TK and Chamber of doctors TK, Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (Croatia), HiST University of Trondheim (Norway) and European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group-EHEDG organized an 8th International Scientific and Professional Conference, WITH FOOD TO HEALTH, traditionally held in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the 16th October 2015, on World Food Day.

 

Scientific and professional papers were presented at the Conference as invited lectures, oral presentations and poster presentations in five sections:

  1. Nutrition
  2. Dietetics and diet therapy
  3. Food safety for human health
  4. Food analysis
  5. Production of food that is safe for human health and nutritionally valuable

 

At the opening ceremony the participants were greeted by Prof.dr.sc. Amra Odobašić, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla, Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Prof.dr.sc. Drago Šubarić, Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Osijek (Croatia), Aida Softić, Vice-dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tuzla, Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Emilija Spaseska-Aleksovska, Chamber of Pharmacists TK, Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), dr Almir Azabagić, Chamber of doctors TK, Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), mr sc Amir Avdagić, Agency for Anti-doping control, Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Amir Sakić prof., Agency for Halal Quality Certification BiH, Mr sc Nijaz Bajramović dr vet.med., Food safety agency of BIH, Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), mr Alić Suad, director, Secondary school of agriculture, food, veterinary medicine and services, Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Nina Bijedić, SPONSOR - AS GROUP, Tešanj, (Bosnia and Herzegovina). After greetings, Prof.dr.sc. Amra Odobašić, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), officially opened the Conference.

 

 

 

 

During the Conference a number of scientific and professional papers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and different European countries were presented.

Altogether, there were 216 participants through invited lectures, oral presentations, and poster presentations, from 7 different countries (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italia, Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Serbia, Slovenia, USA). Five invited lectures, 22 oral presentations from five sections mentioned above and 46 poster presentations were given, with a total of 73 scientific and professional papers registered, while also several companies exhibited their equipment and devices.

    The Conference was accompanied by lots of other events: Welcome Reception, Gala dinner and various other social activities during the Conference.

    The interest in the Conference was great and the organizers were convinced in its success with a good reason. From our contacts with the participants of the Conference we found out that they were satisfied with the organization of the Conference, and that the lectures were interesting for them, which was visible from the occupancy of the hall during the entire Conference. Especially successful was the part of the Conference concerning poster presentations where almost all registered participants presented their posters.

     

     

     

    The organization of the 8th WITH FOOD TO HEALTH was supported by many institutions and companies: AQUAVITA, AS GRUPACIJA, BAYER, BONY SOKOVI, CORN FLIPS, FANA SREBRENIK, GUSTO SAPORE, LANDGOLD, MEGGLE, MENPROM, PERUTNINA BREZA, PERUTNINA, PTUJ, SALVUS, SHIMADZU, SLATKA VAROŠ, SMRČAK, SOLGAR, TAKEDA, UNICEF SARAJEVO, UNIFARM TUZLA, VITINKA, VOĆAR BRČKO, VOĆAR - RAHIĆ, VOĆNI RASADNIK SREBRENIK, ZADA PHARMACEUTICALS, ZLATNA DŽEZVA, ZOTT GRADAČAC, …. All of them recognized the importance of keeping the tradition of organizing this Conference.

     

     

    For the Conference was prepared and printed the Book of abstracts and papers of 8th WITH FOOD TO HEALTH. Also, because it was received a bigger number of the full scientific and professional papers, some of them will be in the selection process for the preparation and publishing in the scientific-professional journal of nutrition and dietetics FOOD IN HEALTH AND DISEASE, exactly, in the 2. number of the 4. volume, and in the 1. number of the 5. volume.

     

     

     

An organizers’ wish is that this traditional festival of scientific and professional activity continues to be an important place of meeting, exchange of experiences and establishment of cooperation between science and economy.

 

On behalf of all of us who participated in the organization, I hope that the participants of the 8th WITH FOOD TO HEALTH took pleasant memories with them and I am looking forward to meeting you all again, at the 9th WITH FOOD TO HEALTH, in 2016!
